    AlexAlex is a staff scientist at LANL on the FIRE team. His expertise lies in modeling micro-combustion chemistry and particulate formation and has worked extensively the last 5 years on fundamental developments to LANL’s fire modeling codes HIGRAD-FIRETEC and QUIC-Fire including the expansion of multiple fuel resolution to both codes, thick fuel combustion modeling, smoke source term modeling, and general code modernization.
